The Time I Had The Cleaning Bug

My life has become Pinterest.

I randomly decided to clean my entire room (not including my closet. That nightmare is a story for another time) a couple weeks ago. It is surprising how having a clean space to work really boosted my productivity!

I’ve Been Gone…

I am very, very sorry.

I never announced that I was taking a break, and I didn’t even realize that I would. I have been meaning to post for some time, but I never really had the chance.

In seventh grade, your grades really count towards high school. You take the tests in 8th, but in 7th is where the stress comes. With an average of 4 homework-heavy classes a day (yes, I did the math) plus other classes that may or may not give homework, we have ourselves a full evening of homework, test prep, and after-school activities.

R.L. Stine Possesses The Art Of Scaring Someone Silly

Most people think telling a scary story is easy, but it requires a specific talent. Even famous horror authors like R.L. Stine sometimes has a book that lacks the right scary elements.

But most of his books are a huge success. I mean, who wouldn’t be scared of a giant insect, a murderous clown or a clinically insane ventriloquist dummy?

R.L. Stine is a great example of a horror author who knows exactly how to scare you. Clowns, bugs and dummies are extremely common fears in the world. In fact, over 20% of women and 15% of men suffer from arachnophobia, the fear of arachnids.

In fact, Goosebumps was so popular, they made a movie about it!

Rumors of the sequel are floating around, but nothing has been confirmed.

Why People Create Holidays

It seems people will do crazy things to make a day turn into a holiday.

Naturally, because of this, there are hundreds of holidays most people don’t even know about.

Here is an example: yesterday was World Vegetarian Day, and today is World Farm Animal Day. Crazy, right? Well, not so much.

In this world, people constantly have ups and downs in their life, and they want things to celebrate. Creating holidays give people a reason to celebrate, though some people argue you don’t need a reason to be happy and have fun.

I am one of those people, but I still think creating holidays can be a fun and unique way to pass time and enjoy yourself. Since there are so many other holidays, calendars don’t list them all. They mostly list the normal holidays such as Easter, Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanza, among others. They also show holidays like National Dog Day and Grandparents Day, but not many others.

I used to be subscribed to a website that emailed you every day with a list of holidays that happened on that day. And it wasn’t things like Christmas or Halloween, it was stuff like National Pear day and Motorcycle Awareness Month. True story.
