Re-Imagine The Story (Part 3)

New message from Katerina Petrov:

NHW meeting @ my house in 10 minutes!

Austin’s phone read. I thought it started at 2:30! Austin thought. He checked his watch: 2:20.

“Hey, Jamie!” He called. Jamie turned around. “Do you think you can cover for me? My meeting’s been bumped up earlier!”

“Sure!” she called. I smiled and climbed down from my lifeguard chair. I grabbed a towel and hopped over the fence that enclosed the pool. Austin unlocked his car and hopped in. He punched Katerina’s address into my GPS and started driving. Estimated time of arrival: 2:29.

  1. Um, so I’m confused, you said what Austin was thinking, but then you said stuff like

“sure!” she called. I smiled and climbed down from my lifeguard chair. I grabbed a towel and hopped over the fence that enclosed the pool. AUSTIN (not I anymore) unlocked HIS (not my) car and hopped in. HE (not I) punched Katerina’s address into MY (who’s gps?) GPS and started driving. Estimated time of arrival: 2:29.

Stuff I’m confused on is in caps.

    1. One of the things I like about my writing is that I change the perspective nonchalantly, giving the reader inside information in a casual way, that only gives enough away to give them a good picture of what is really going on. Sorry I confused you.
