ProjectANT was a secret project me and my friends were working on. It was going to be a spin-off the popular show Ant Farm.
It was password-protected so only cast members could view the script.
I was working on the script all by myself, and when I didn’t have time to do it one day, I was very harshly lectured by a cast member I will not name.
Did he really expect me to complete a TV show script all on my own? Other scripts are written by a whole team of professional screenwriters. I was a 10-year-old kid working alone, and he expected me to spend all my free time writing it.
I really needed help, so I sent out an email asking for help with the script, and enclosed a copy in the email. I received no response, so I promptly closed ProjectANT. I thought to myself If nobody is going to help, we don’t need to do it.
When I told the cast I had to cancel it, they were pretty sad. Except for the one person. He simply shrugged it off and told me he didn’t care. If he didn’t care, why had he exploded at me for not being able to write some of the script?
There you have it, the story of the failed Ant Farm spin-off.
