Goodbye Spain!

How quickly two weeks pass by, and we are already flying home.

Today is our last day in Spain, and we are heading to the airport now. In a direct quote from my Mom: “We were immersed in the culture, enjoyed the natural beauty, and all the individuals we met were respectful of our attempts to speak their language. In General, Spain felt casual and un-rushed.”

I totally agree! Spain has been a wonderful experience, and we may be coming back next year. Here are some helpful words and phrases we learned on our trip:

“El banyo por favor” the boy’s bathroom please

“La banya por favor” the girl’s bathroom please

“La quenta por favor” can we please have the bill?

“Como stas?” how are you?

“Quanto qesta?” how much is this?

“Salude!” cheers!

“Postres” dessert

“Dulces” candy/sweet

“Helado” ice cream

“Hamburguesa por favor!” a hamburger please

All together, Spain was a wonderful experience!
